Any student who plans on competing in athletics at a Division I or Division II college must do the following to be eligible:
a. TheNCAA Eligibility Center has a registration Web site for college-bound student-athletes planning to enroll in college. The Web address is www.eligibilitycenter.org. The Eligibility Center will aid you in easily accessing the vital information needed to assist student-athletes and parents with the registration and academic and amateurism certification processes.
b. Print a copy of your completed registration form AND give the form to Mr. Pellettier in the Counseling Office.
After April 1st, please student-athletes must request final amateurism certification. This must be completed in order for your student-athletes to be eligible to compete this fall. Please complete the steps below to finalize their amateurism certification.
1. Go to the NCAA Eligibility Center's Web site at www.ncaaclearinghouse.net. Using your NCAA ID or Social Security Number and the four-digit PIN you selected when you registered, log in to your account. (If you have forgotten the four-digit PIN, use the “Can’t Remember Your PIN” option on the login page.)
2. Once you have logged in, select “Enter/Update Amateur Questionnaire” from the options along the left side of the screen and answer or verify the amateurism questionnaire responses you previously input to make sure your responses are still correct.
3. Once you have finalized the questionnaire, click the button for “Final Authorization Signature.” Enter the appropriate information on this page and then click the “Submit” button.
The Eligibility Center will only accept official transcripts. Transcripts that are faxed cannot be used. Use your graduation list in your school’s Eligibility Center account to know which students are requesting transcripts to be sent. If your high school or district subscribes to one of the following providers, you may send electronic transcripts to the Eligibility Center.
Note: You must complete the Amateurism Questionnaire to finalize your application. This cannot be submitted prior to April 1st of your senior year. All other requirements (including transcripts) should be completed prior to April 1st.
