WAJ had three winter sports team earn the distinction of being a NYSPHSAA Winter Scholar-Athlete Team!  To be recognized as a Scholar-Athlete team, 75% of a team’s roster is required when computing a team’s average GPA, which must be 90.0 or greater.  Student-athletes with a 90.0 or greater GPA are still recognized as Scholar-Athlete recipients even if their team did not qualify for the Scholar-Athlete team award.
