WAJ students, Paris Carreras, Brianna Leishear and Liliana Pranzo have been selected to represent our school at the NYSSMA Zone 10 Area All-State Festival at Hudson High School on November 23rd. 

To qualify for this honor, students must have a near perfect audition on a level six solo at the NYSSMA  Festival that happens each Spring. They must also exhibit a high level of dedication and responsibility for their musical studies and be recommended by their directors. Applications for students who meet this criteria are  are reviewed by a state committee panel, who determines group size, instrumentation/voicing and repertoire. 

This year, we are proud to have Paris Carreras participating in the Treble Voices Choir. Brianna Leishear and Liliana Pranzo are  playing flute in the Concert Band.
